Something very special is coming to High Point Theatre April 1, 2012.
The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour selects audiences around the globe to enjoy inspirational, high-energy films that capture the stories of the world’s top adventurers as well as show the beauty of mountain landscapes. The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour travels to audiences in 32 countries reaching over 245,000 people.
The Film Festival World Tour is presented by The Banff Centre, REI Greensboro, Piedmont Environmental Center, National Geographic, The North Face, and Parks Canada. The Banff Centre, located in the Banff National Park in Canada, is the leader in arts and culture in Canada. The Banff Centre works with exceptional artists around the world to create and perform works of art. The Banff World Tour team selects films that will go on the World Tour featuring topics like skiing, kayaking, adventure, climbing, culture, and environment. Twenty-five films are selected to go on the World Tour, but event hosts choose the films that are best suited

When The Banff World Tour comes to High Point Theatre, the event will begin at 7pm and include a selection of films that range anywhere from 5 minutes to 50 minutes. The event will last until about 10pm. General admission to the event is just $12 for adults, $7 for students, and $10 for REI members with discount code.
