Def Comedy Jam Comes to High Point, NC

T-Ray Sander, Double D, & Marcus Combs at High Point Theatre, NC” width=”339″ height=”480″ />August 18, 2012, High Point, NC, becomes host to all things funny with comedians T-Ray Sanders, Double D, and Marcus Combs. These three up-and-coming comedians take the stage at High Point Theatre at 7:30 pm while being filmed for HBO Live.

T-Ray Sanders, who was actually born in High Point, has worked with several well-known comedians: Chris Tucker, Eddie Griffin, and Katt Williams. Sanders style of comedy is unique because of his “pep rally” style. His goal when it comes to comedy is to not only entertain you but also send out a message of motivation. Other comedic acts for the night include: Double D and Marcus Combs. Degario “Double D” Turner hails from Georgia and like Sanders has opened for the likes of Chris Tucker and Katt Williams. He has also been the headlining act of the RJE Comedy/Poetry Cabaret Tour for the past 10 years. Marcus Combs has been featured on many comedic DVDs series, like, P. Diddy presents: “The Bad Boys of Comedy”, Russell Simmons: “Def Comedy Jam”, and “Cut’n it Up: Chicago”. Combs has shared the stage with Bernie Mac, Tony Roberts, and Earthquake.
