Hotel near High Point Market Week EventOne of the biggest events in the Triad Region is High Point Market Week, attracting over 85,000 people to High Point every spring and fall season. High Point Market Week for fall 2011 is just a few weeks away during October 22-27! While the event is not for the general public, it is a haven for all furnishing industry buyers, exhibitors, and other players in the industry. This fall’s event will feature over 10 million square of exhibit space, over 2,000 exhibitors, and tons of new product introductions predicting the future for the global industry.

Just some of the featured exhibitors include antique reproductions and furnishings for the bedroom, bar, bath, dining, home theater, gamer room, outdoor/patio, and more!  You will find every product imaginable in all price ranges, categories, and styles. If you do not see the item you are looking for in High Point, it “probably doesn’t exist.” Not only does the event feature furnishings, but educational seminars by professionals on topics including “Project Next Best Seller-What Will Sell to Gen Y,” “Social Media: What it Does & Doesn’t Do,” and “Measuring and Maximizing the Value of Your Website.”

Most evenings at 7:30pm, Center Stage will host the All Stars Under the Starts concerts gathering the best bands, food, and fun. Some of the great acts planned for Market Week include B-52s on Saturday, October 22; Starship starring Mickey Thomas on Sunday, October 23; and Swingin’ Richards on Monday, October 24.
