The Ultimate Comic Challenge 2012 FINALS will be held at the Carolina Theatre on January 25, 2013. This is not only a big deal for Greensboro, but it is the biggest stand up comedy competition in North Carolina! The winner has a chance to win over $1,800 in prizes.
The Ultimate Comic Challenge is an event sponsored by The Idiot Box, 107.5 KZL, and Yes! that has been an ongoing since Fall of 2012. The Ultimate Comic Challenge began with 56 comics who signed on to see who is the funniest comic in North Carolina and now in it’s final show there are only 5 comics left standing. Since Fall of 2012 the original 56 have
made you laugh and won your votes show after show. Now there are only five comics left, but there can be only one Ultimate Comic. These comics will compete for a lot more than audience’s laughs, but their votes as well. Audiences will have complete control of who the winner is, kind of like a Live American Idol only funnier.
